Abstract

295,166. Treschow, M. Dec. 6, 1927. Rotary kilns. - A supporting arrangement for rotary kilns comprises a pair of sliding shoes 3, 4 having turned cylindrical surfaces and arranged as shown, one on either side of the vertical plane through the axis of the drum. The sliding shoes are supported through the medium of pins 5, 7, the pins 5 being arranged parallel to the axis of the drum and the pins 7 tangential to its surface.
