Abstract

Two-part couplings.-A device for attachment to an ordinary wall switch b to enable the circuit to be controlled from a distant point comprises a pair of split sockets, ferrules, or other connecting devices c<1>, c<2> suitable for attachment to the usual switch terminals, a length of flex d connected to the sockets &c., and a portable switch e such as a gear switch, which is thus connected in parallel with the wall switch. An insulating liner or an insulating cover a is provided to prevent short circuiting when the switch cover is replaced, the flex being brought out under the rim and gripped thereby.
