Calculating - apparatus of the disc t y p e . - A transparent disc 4 and a smaller disc 3 bearing slotted polar curves 10, 11 are superposed on a circular recessed base 1 logarithmically graduated at 14 and above them is pivoted a graduated pointer 5 having a resilient bent-up portion to pass over manipulative lugs 9 on the top disc. Frictional effects to prevent undesired movements are obtained by the end 7 of the pointer bearing against the rim of the base and by rubber feet on the underside of the upper disc.
