Abstract

289,587. Thom, J. H. Feb. 18, 1927. Ventilators for vehicles consist of an air duct disposed within a longitudinally-disposed wind channel 4 and comprising curved or inclined plates 9, 11 converging towards each other at the rear end of the channel, the rear plate 11 having its upper rear edge turned down to form a substantially vertical flange 12 which completely closes the space at the lower rear part of the wind channel. The channel 4 may be formed from a single steel sheet and have a flange or base plate 5 for fixing purposes.
