Trawling-gear.-Bobbins for ground-ropes are constructed from two flanged end-discs 3 and a cylindrical ring 5 extending along the length of the shell. An inner bush 9 extends between the end discs. The various members may be electrically welded together. The, casing is filled with wood or other buoyant material. The discs may be convex, flat or concave.
