Tiles for filter-beds.-A semi-cylindrical cover c for a filter bed under-drain has an intermediate part d of each longitudinal margin cut away, and the longitudinal edges of the remaining portions are adapted to rest on the corresponding edges of the usual lower part a of the underdrain and has depending fins for engaging spigotlike with the said lower part. The cover may be of concrete, stoneware &c., and a reinforcement in the form of an expanded metal sheet, together with iron wires h, may be provided. More than one intermediate cut-away part d may be provided on each margin.
