Abstract

283,688. English Electric Co., Ltd., and Linstow, F. N. Nov. 16, 1926. Fusible cut-outs.-A fuse wire is attached to springs 15 between contacts 10, 11 carried by the lid 3 of fin oil filled tank 1. The contacts 10, 11 normally engage fixed contacts 8, 9, but when it is desired to open the lid it is first necessary to move the contacts 11 into the dotted line position so that the circuit is broken while the lid is still closed.
