Table games.-An inclined board for playing a game simulating cricket is studded with pins or their equivalents adapted to form obstructions and stops for the ball, and is provided with a lateral channel having at its lower end a pivoted miniature bat or other propelling medium and having at the upper end a bowling shoot. As shown, a miniature bat 1 is pivoted at the foot of a lateral channel 3, and a grooved bowling shoot 4 with a ball-retaining depression 6 is adjustably held in an inclined position above the floor at the upper end of the channel by pins 7, 8. A deflecting buffer 9<1> is arranged near the top of the channel. Pins 10, nets, or curved sections of metal are distributed over the surface of the board and may catch the ball as it rolls down the board. Other pins 9, 12 deflect the ball, and recesses 11 receive balls which reach the bottom of the board. The pins 10 and recesses 11 are marked with cricket terms such as bowled, caught or numerals representing runs. In playing a game the ball is rolled down the bowling shoot 4 and is projected by the bat 1 up the channel so as to roll down among the pins the indications on the intercepting pins or recesses denoting the result of the stroke.
