Abstract

281,224. Kahl, F., and Landau, W. Nov. 24, 1926, [Convention date]. Light and other radiations, treating diseases with.-For applying light and other radiations to mucous membranes of the nose, two resistance bodies are movably secured to a common handle in such manner that they can be introduced simultaneously into both nostrils, as shown, each resistance body comprises an electric lowvoltage lamp 1 in an envelope of blue glass, conductors 7 providing connection to a source of supply such as a pocket battery 40. The lamps are surrounded by grid-like protective caps 2 of heat-insulating material and are carried by arms 4 which are pivoted to links 5 connected by a common pivot 9 to the end of the hollow handle 6. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) refers to the treatment of body cavities generally. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
