Cans; linings, coatings, and coverings.-A petrol tin is formed with one or more cavities 2 adapted to contain an oil container 3, fire extinguisher, or " Thermos " flash, the whole being adapted to be secured to the running board of a motor vehicle. The walls of the cavities are provided with resilient means to prevent rattle, such as the spring strips 4, or a felt lining.. A hinged or other cover may be provided for the cavity and springs may be interposed between the oil container &c. and the ends of the cavity. The petrol tin may have a waterproof fabric cover.
