Earpieces and attachments.-An auxiliary earpiece 1 is clipped over the telephone receiver 4 and communicates by way of a tube 8 with a second earpiece 10 so as to enable a second person to listen. The auxiliary earpiece 1, Fig. 2, is formed with a cavity 5 communicating with an outer hole 6 and with a bore 7 leading to one end of the tube 8, the other end of which communicates by way of bore 12, Fig. 3, with the cavity 11 in the second earpiece 10. A thin perforated disc 15 is placed behind the opening 13 in the cap 14, a felt ring 16 being interposed between the cap and casing 10. An apertured sheet 9 of felt &c. is also arranged between the back of the earpiece 1 and receiver 4.
