Abstract

277,553. Walker, A. O. Feb. 14, 1927. Egg-cooking apparatus.-An egg-poacher of the type comprising a circular base 1, an upright 4 having a handle 7, a sliding sleeve 5 having a handle 6, a spring 8 between the handles 6, 7, and a spider plate 9 carrying a number of rings 10, is characterized by the upright 4 being detachably mounted on the base 1. As shown in Fig. 3, the upright 4 is screwed into a socket 3 on the base. The rings 10 are tapered so that the eggs are readily separable from the walls. The flange 2 of the base 1 has notches 14 and the base is perforated at 13 to permit free circulation of water.
