March 16, 1926- Loud-speakers.-A loud-speaker b is housed within a triangular casing a having a hinged door a' provided with an aperture a<2> disposed substantially opposite the mouth of the loud-speaker and having a timepiece &c. c mounted centrally therein. The aperture a<2>, which may be covered with silk &c., is preferably formed by cutting out a series of segmental parts from the door so as to. form a number of integral radial arms a<3> terminating at the centre in a disc a<4>. The timepiece c is mounted on the rear face of the disca', the spindles for the hour and minute hands c', c<2> passing through the disc. The figures and divisions for the clock face are preferably indicated on the outer face of the door a<1> as shown in Fig. 1. The loud-speaker b may be replaced' by a loud-speaker of the large diaphragm type.
