Abstract
271,911. Lorenz Akt.-Ges., C. Feb. 3, 1926, [Convention date]. Atmospherics and undesired signals, eliminating or limiting ; duplex signalling. -In a receiving system the aerial circuit is divided into two parallel branches the currents in which are differentially combined in the receiving circuit F and in one of the branches a series combination of inductance L and capacity C is provided constituting an acceptor circuit to the frequency to be eliminated. The Figure shows such a circuit with a resistance R in the second branch to enable the balance to be obtained in amplitude. The output instead of being coupled may be directly across the inductances L1, L2 and the amplitude balancing can be obtained by varying the couplings K1. L1 and E2. L2, and by dimensioning the additional apparatus in the twobranches. The arrangement is adapted for simultaneous transmission and reception. In the case where a single aerial is employed the transmitter is coupled to the aerial outside the branching off connection and the receiver is electrostatically shielded. A number of disturbing waves may be eliminated by arranging a number of circuits in cascade each having its acceptor circuit tuned to one of the disturbing frequencies.
