Fluid friction apparatus; treating substances with liquids.-The discs a of the centrifugal apparatus described in the parent Specification for the treatment of gases with liquids, are stamped to produce on each of them a number of annular series of nozzle-like protuberences. Three forms of nozzles are shown in Fig. 2; a truncated conical form b<2> is shown in the central part of the Figure and elongated forms b, b<1> are shown at the sides the frame b having rounded sides e while the latter b<1> has flat sides f.
