Calendars.-A monthly calendar in which the preceding and succeeding months are displayed as well as the current month comprises a number of superimposed plates or discs constituting a. casing for two relatively rotatable discs one of which bears the month indications and the other carries a set of particular date markings. In the form shown Figs. 3, 4, and 6, the casing consists of a front, intermediate, and back plate; the front plate a has an aperture b for displaying a three monthly period and the intermediate plate d has a. cutaway segment e for the current month and two portions f in a contrasting colour to distinguish the preceding and succeeding months from the current month. The month indications are arranged in segmental formation on a transparent plate c mounted on a central pivot in front of the intermediate plate and behind this plate is similarly mounted a disc h with outlined spaces h<1> forming particular date indicators adapted to be adjusted daily. The disc h behind the spaces h<1> may be differently coloured from the remaining portion to distinguish the past from the future days of the current month. In a modification the month indications may be arranged on segmental plates held in pockets or recesses formed on the casing. The disc h with the particular date markings may be transparent and be arranged in front of an opaque month disc or plates.
