Abstract

266,880. Bach, C. H. Feb. 3, 1926. Pivoting adjustments for the wind-screens of motor vehicles comprise a tubular pivot or pivots 13 that support the sleeve 12 of the wind-screen, the pivots being without a longitudinal slit and housing a loose block 16<b>, Fig. 2, which is forced by a clamping screw 16a into binding engagement with the sleeve 12, the end of the screw impinging on the inner surface of the tubular pivot member. In the modification shown in Fig. 4, the end of the screw engages a second loose block 16<c>. The sleeve member of the screen is slotted at 12<a> for the passage of the clamping screw.
