264,325. Field, W. R. Jan. 20, 1926. Garages for vehicles are formed with barriers to define the vehicle sites, which are arranged in a plurality of rows so as to form a series of spaced "one-way" thoroughfares 30 commencing at a common entrance area 28 and ending at a common departure area 29. The barriers form open-ended sites so that a vehicle may enter by one thoroughfare and leave by the adjacent parallel thoroughfare without having to negotiate bends of 90‹ or less. Pairs of inclined ramps may lead to and from the entrance and departure areas in multifloor buildings. Parts of the building may be used as shops, offices, kinemas, and the like.
