263,957. Bonus, D. E. Oct. 10, 1925. Hand and like bags; purses.-A length of elastic, rubber, flattened coil spring, or a length of material made elastic in its action by the insertion in its length of rubber or spring, is attached to the material of the handle of an existing hand-bag purse, music-case, &c. by spring clips b, Fig. 2, spring buttons, press-studs or rivets. One side of the open mouth of the clips b is provided with a ring c which, after the clips have been slipped transversely over the handle, is engaged with the other side of the mouth to press the clip against the handle of the hand-bag &c. Specification 166,720 is referred to.
