Indicating, - Adjustment and indicating devices for wireless apparatus &c. of the kind in which a single operating member controls the movement of two members is constructed so that a partial movement of one member automatically changes the scale readings for co-operation with an indicator rigidly secured to the operating member. In one construction, Fig. 1, one element is mounted on the spindle A and another element on the spindle B, a projection on the spindle A engaging with a notched sector 5 on the spindle B. After each rotation of spindle A a pinion 6 operates upon a rack 7 and scaleplate 8 to display one or other of the scales I - - IV in the cover aperture 11 for co-operation with the indicating-pointer 3. In modifications, the spindle A effects the movement of the scales directly, for example, in Fig. 6, a projection 16 on the scale-plate 8 engages a spiral cam groove 15 in the operating-knob 1. The scales may be stationary and a translatory movement given to the indicating-pointer. A cam in the form of a Maltese cross may be employed in place of the sector 5. Three or more adjustable members may be employed. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also an arrangement having scales of rectangular form which are moved by one of the adjustment members through a pin-and-slot connection, the other member being moved independently. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
