263,134. R÷wer, H., and R÷wer, F. Dec. 21, 1925, [Convention date]. Tools.-A skim attachment for a plough is mounted on the plough body so that manure &c. may pass right over the top if necessary. The plough is provided with a share 8 of substantial length, from the point of which a plate 2 extends obliquely backwards. The plate 2 is in a vertical plane over the edge of the sole plate 10 and acts as a coulter. Its upper part may be formed into a skimming share or may carry a separate concave skim attachment 3 adjustably connected to it by a bracket and screws. The edge 5 of the mouldboard 9 is at a distance from the land side of the plough corresponding to the width of the skim attachment, the gap between it and the sole plate 10 being filled in by a convex body plate. The coulter plate 2 may be made in one with the body plate, share 8, mouldboard 9, or sole plate 10.
