Abstract

The invention concerns skiing on a single ski with both feet in line on the ski and provides an inclined wedge 1 on the ski upper side 5 positioned to support the hind or rear foot of the skier without needing the foot to be flat on the surface 5 of the ski. The wedge is applicable to all types of skiing on a mono ski such as skwalling or water skiing. The wedge may include holders 2 & 3 for the toe and heel of a ski boot. A spring biased catch (figure 3) may be provided to secure the heel of a boot to the wedge.
