Description

ADAPTABLE FILLING DEVICE
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The object of the present invention application is to register an adaptable filling device, which incorporates notable innovations and advantages over the techniques used up until now.
More specifically, the invention proposes the development of an adaptable filling device, which, due to its particular arrangement, allows it to be installed in a vaporisation apparatus and at the same time allows different bottles from different manufacturers and origins with their respective shut-off valves to be inserted for use in one same device, and thus communicate the liquid contained in the bottles to the aforementioned vaporising apparatus, all in a simple, effective and safe way.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The use of anaesthetic agents which require vaporisation in a vaporising apparatus for their 20 final use is known in the current state of the art.
To this end, said anaesthetic agents are supplied by different manufacturers in a liquid state inside bottles, and each bottle must be attached to a specific safety key for each class or type of bottle for the outlet of the aforementioned liquid from inside the bottle in order to be 25 subsequently vaporised in a vaporising apparatus.
This means that in the current state of the art there is an obvious difficulty in the use of different classes and types of bottles from different manufacturers in one same vaporising apparatus, since the use thereof is complicated and hindered as the different output keys of the different classes and types of bottles containing anaesthetic agents in liquid state are not compatible.
The present invention contributes to solving and overcoming this problem, since it makes it possible to use different classes and types of bottles from different manufacturers and origins with their respective shut-off valves in one same vaporising apparatus, all in a simple, effective and safe way.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention has been developed to provide an adaptable filling device, suitable for being installed in a vaporising apparatus, and suitable for receiving a liquid previously contained in a container bottle or receptacle and which requires vaporisation for its use, wherein each type or class of bottle corresponds to a specific key, and wherein each key is suitable for contact with its respective bottle and to allow the liquid contained in said bottle to exit therethrough; which comprises a connection mechanism enabled for individualised insertion therein of a variety of different keys; said connection mechanism being also enabled so that the insertion of a key in the same connection mechanism allows the transfer of the liquid contained in a bottle corresponding to that key through the same key and into the same vaporising apparatus.
Preferably, in the adaptable filling device, the connection mechanism comprises a plurality of valves, each valve corresponding to a specific key, and the same connection mechanism and each valve being mutually enabled for insertion and removal of each valve in said 20 connection mechanism Additionally, in the adaptable filling device, the connection mechanism comprises a spring, enabled to be arranged just below the valve in use.
Additionally, in the adaptable filling device, the connection mechanism also comprises a joint, enabled for communication and passage of the liquid from the bottle and its key to the inside of the vaporising apparatus itself.
Alternatively, in the adaptable filling device, the connection mechanism also comprises a 30 sight hole, mutually enabled with the connection mechanism to be positioned and interposed to enable the level of the liquid from the bottle in the same connection mechanism to be visually assessed.
Alternatively, in the adaptable filling device, the connection mechanism also comprises a drain plug, enabled and arranged to drain or empty the liquid remaining in the connection mechanism after its use.
Additionally, the adaptable filling device comprises a plug enabled to cover the connection mechanism.
Preferably, in the adaptable filling device, the liquid previously contained in the bottle is an anaesthetic liquid for veterinary use.
With the present invention, it is possible to enable different safety keys from different manufacturers and origins with their respective construction features to be used in one same vaporising apparatus, all in a simple, effective and safe way.
Other features and advantages of the adaptable filling device will become apparent from the description of a preferred but not exclusive embodiment illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the attached drawings, in which:
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Figure 1 is a schematic general view of a preferred embodiment of the adaptable filling device of the present invention.
Figure 2 is a schematic view indicating the advantages of using a preferred embodiment of the adaptable filling device of the present invention.
Figures 3 and 4 are schematic views indicating more details of a preferred embodiment of the adaptable filling device of the present invention.
DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
The adaptable filling device of the present invention is suitable for being installed in a vaporising apparatus 1 also among those already known in the state of the art, and therefore it is also suitable for receiving an anaesthetic liquid, for veterinary use for example, previously contained in a container bottle or receptacle, thus allowing its subsequent vaporisation in a vaporising device 1 for its use.
Each type or class of said bottle, according to its manufacturer, corresponds to a specific key 3, also made by the same manufacturer. Accordingly, each key 3 is suitable for contact with and being carried by its respective bottle and allowing the liquid contained in said bottle to exit therethrough.
Already in accordance with the invention itself, the adaptable filling device of the proposed invention, represented in general in a preferred embodiment in Figure 1, is enabled to be installed in a vaporising device 1 and is provided with a connection mechanism 2.
In this preferred embodiment, the vaporising device 1 known in the state of the art, and wherein the adaptable filling device of the invention is installed, is a metal cylindrical receptacle with the possibility of measuring from the top thereof and a circular sight hole for easy viewing which is arranged to the left of the connection mechanism 2.
As schematically represented in Figure 2, said connection mechanism 2 is the one that is enabled for individualised insertion therein of a variety of different keys 3, each key 3 being associated with a specific type or class of bottle for its emptying.
On the other hand, as also shown schematically in Figures 2 and 3, in the adaptable filling 20 device of the invention, the connection mechanism 2 also comprises a plurality of valves 4. The same connection mechanism 2 and each valve 4 are mutually enabled for manual insertion and removal of each valve 4 in said connection mechanism 2.
Each valve 4 corresponds to a specific key 3, to thus allow the insertion of that exact key 3 in 25 the same connection mechanism 2, which entails enabling a transfer of the liquid contained in a bottle that corresponds to that key 3 through the same key 3.
Therefore, in the use of the adaptable filling device of the invention, based on the class of bottle from a specific manufacturer that is to be emptied, a valve 4 that corresponds to the 30 exact key 3 associated in turn with the aforementioned bottle to be emptied must be previously selected.
Once the appropriate valve 4 has been inserted, the key 3 with its bottle can be inserted in the same connection mechanism 2, and its liquid can be emptied into the vaporiser 35 apparatus 1 itself, thus allowing its subsequent vaporisation to be carried out for use.
As also schematically shown in Figure 3, the connection mechanism 2 also comprises a spring 5, which is arranged just below the valve 4 in use, to thus allow for automatic blockage of the valve 4 in the connection mechanism 2, and at the same time facilitate the manual removal of a valve 4 and its replacement by another valve 4 according to another key 3 provided for another class of bottle.
The connection mechanism 2 also comprises a joint 6, enabled for passage of the liquid from the bottle and its key 3, to the inside of the vaporising apparatus 1 itself, for its possible 10 vaporisation, thus also avoiding an accumulation and overflow of the liquid inside the connection mechanism 2.
As also shown in Figures 3 and 4, the connection mechanism 2 also comprises a sight hole 7, positioned and interposed to enable the level of the liquid from the bottle in the same 15 connection mechanism 2 to be visually assessed, and thus observing a possible need to replenish liquid for its use and consumption in the connection mechanism 2.
Figures 3 and 4 also show a drain plug 8 in the connection mechanism, which allows draining or emptying the liquid remaining in the connection mechanism 2 after its use.
The connection mechanism 2 also comprises a plug 9, enabled to cover the connection mechanism 2, for example by tightening it by screwing, as shown in Figures 3 and 4.
The adaptable filling device of the proposed invention therefore allows inserting in a simple way different bottles of veterinary anaesthetic liquids from different manufacturers and origins for their use, for their subsequent and possible vaporisation in one same vaporising apparatus 1, without the need to change equipment, emptying device or vaporising apparatus 1, but rather with minimal changes and without the need to purchase all new equipment to do so.
The details, shapes, dimensions and other secondary elements, as well as the materials used in manufacturing the adaptable filling device of the invention, may be suitably replaced with others that are technically equivalent and do not depart from the essential nature of the invention or from the scope defined by the claims included below.
