When the key 8 is not inserted into the compulsive unlocking driver 3, a regular key 7 could be inserted into the regular key access 121 to drive the regular lock cylinder R and the linking part 24 to enable the lock case 2 to drive the deadbolt 22. When the key 8 is inserted into the compulsive unlocking driver 3, the lock case 2 could restrain an inner hub 23 to operate and drive the deadbolt 22 to unlock. The connecting spindle 13 is inserted into the inner hub 23 of the lock case 2 to drive the deadbolt 22.
[0029] Specifically, in a non-emergency situation, in the exterior side 92 of the door leaf 9, a managing staff could use the regular key 7 to drive the deadbolt 22 to the locking position. hi the interior side 91 of the door leaf 9, a patient could shift and slide the switching tab 11 to drive the connecting spindle 13 to insert into the inner hub 23 to drive the deadbolt 22 to the locking position. When the deadbolt 22 is in the locking position, the managing staff could, from the exterior side 92 of the door leaf 9, insert the regular key 7 into the regular key access R1 of the regular lock cylinder R inserted within a linking part 24 to drive the deadbolt 22 to the unlocking position.
100301 As shown in Figs. 3, 4, 6A and 6B, the exterior secondary key access shield 4 is mounted on the compulsive unlocking driver 3 in the exterior side 92 of the door leaf 9. The exterior secondary key access shield 4 shields the secondary key access 31. The exterior secondary key access shield 4 has an inserting hole 41 and a guiding slot 42. The guiding slot 42 extends from the inserting hole 41. The key 8 is allowed to directly insert into the inserting hole 41 from the exterior side 92 of the door leaf 9. The key 8 is not allowed to directly insert into the guiding slot 42 from the exterior side 92 of the door leaf 9. The key 8 is inserted into the inserting hole 41 and shifts through the guiding slot 42 until the key 8 is in an inserting position which allows the key 8 to insert into the secondary key access 31 to drive the deadbolt 22.
100311 As shown in Figs. 2 to 4, the exterior secondary key access shield 4 has an upper shelter 40 and a front panel 40A. The upper shelter 40 is provided forming an upper portion of the exterior secondary key access shield 4. The front panel 40A is frontward extended from the upper shelter 40 to form a front portion of the exterior secondary key access shield 4. The inserting hole 41 and the guiding slot 42 are formed on the front panel 40A.
[0032] As shown in Figs. 2, 6A and 6B, a width of the guiding slot 42 is less than a diameter of the inserting hole 41. A limited end of the guiding slot 42 is spaced apart from the inserting hole 41 with a distance [0033] As shown in Figs. 2 to 4, the door lock device 100 further comprises a keyhole cover 5. The keyhole cover 5 is mounted around the regular lock cylinder R to enclose the regular key access Ri [0034] As shown in Figs. 1 and 3 to 5, the door lock device 100 further comprises the interior escutcheon 6 disposed on the interior side 91 of the door leaf 9. An exterior escutcheon 6A is installed on the exterior side 92 of the door leaf 9. The interior escutcheon 6 and the exterior escutcheon 6A are connected to each other by a fastener extending through the door leaf 9. The interior escutcheon 6 covers the rotating disc 12. The switching tab 11 protrudes out of the interior escutcheon 6. The exterior secondary key access shield 4 is mounted on the exterior escutcheon 6A.
[0035] As shown in Figs. 1 and 3, the door lock device 100 further comprises an interior door pull 6B mounted on the interior escutcheon 6. The interior door pull 6B protrudes outwards and downwards from the interior escutcheon 6. Moreover, a width of the interior door pull 6B gradually decreases in a downward protruding direction of the interior door pull 6B.
[0036] As shown in Figs. 4, 6A and 6B, in more detail, an unlocking portion 81 is provided in a front side of the key 8. An indented portion 82 is provided backward extending from the unlocking portion 81. A radius of the indented portion 82 is smaller than a radius of the unlocking portion 81. The inserting hole 41 is with an inserting area through which the unlocking portion 81 is allowed to insert. The guiding slot 42 is with a sliding area through which the indented portion 82 is allowed to slide.
[0037] As shown in Figs. 4, 6A and 6B, a tail piece 32 of the compulsive unlocking driver 3 is mounted into a rescue trigger 25 of the lock case 2. After the indented portion 82 slides from the inserting hole 41 to the limited end of guiding slot 42, the key 8 is in the inserting position where the unlocking portion 81 is allowed to insert into the secondary key access 31 of the compulsive unlocking driver 3 such that the unlocking portion 81 could be rotated to sequentially control the tail piece 32, the rescue trigger 25 to unlock the deadbolt 22.
[0038] The followings explain how to perform the compulsive unlocking operation and disable the compulsive unlocking. The compulsive unlocking operation includes steps of (i) inserting the key 8 into the secondary key access 31 which is in twelve o'clock position; (i1) rotating the key 8 in a clockwise direction for 45 degrees, by which the switching tab is out of function; and (iii) rotating the key 8 in a counterclockwise direction for 45 degrees to back to the twelve o'clock position to pull out the key 8 from the secondary key access 31. On the other hand, the operation of disabling the compulsive unlocking includes steps of (i) inserting the key 8 into the secondary key access 31 which is in twelve o'clock position; (ii) rotating the key 8 in a counterclockwise direction for 45 degrees, by which the switching tab is enabled of function; and (iii) rotating the key 8 in a clockwise direction for 45 degrees to back to the twelve o'clock position to pull out the key 8 from the secondary key access 31.
100391 With the structure described above, the door lock device 100 is provided with the interior deadbolt switch 1 instead of the conventional door knob/lever. Regardless of whether or not the switching tab 11 of the interior deadbolt switch 1 is held, the managing staff could always insert the regular key 7 into the regular key access RI to override to drive the deadbolt 22 to the unlocking position to enter the room. The door lock device 100 of the present invention is further provided with the exterior secondary key access shield 4 which covers the compulsive unlocking driver 3 to prevent unexpected objects from being inserted into the secondary key access 31 and to protect the secondary key access 31 from being damaged by external destructive forces. Furthermore, even when the regular key access R1 is broken, the managing staff could still insert the key 8 into the secondary key access 31 to drive the deadbolt 22 to the unlocking position to enter the room.
