Abstract
261,502. North, N. E. Sept. 17,1925. Coating.-In a sherardizing process for coating metal articles, the articles are treated with a mixture of zinc and cadmium with or without other ingredients such as sand and ground carbon. The commercial metal known as dust may be used and the proportion of cadmium may vary from 1-20 per cent. In an example a mixture is used containing 5 per cent of cadmium.
