In one embodiment, the present invention includes a right hand with a right palm and a left hand with a left palm. The right palm may include at least one right button and the left palm may include at least one left button. The left button or the right button, when depressed, may send electronic signals to at least one control module to cause the speakers to emit a first sound or a second sound which can be morning or evening dua and athkar (prayers).
DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS OF THE INVENTION
All illustrations of the drawings are for the purpose of describing selected versions of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
The present invention provides a teddy bear that teaches morning and evening dua and athkar (prayers). The present invention is unique because it is the only teddy bear that teaches prayer to Muslim children. The present invention plays back pre-recorded and hardcoded certain Islamic supplications and athkars (dua) for morning and evening times.
As can be seen in FIGS. 1-3, the present invention provides a plush teddy bear 100 that is sitting in a Muslim supplication prayer position with the hands (paws) 25 having a palm 26 facing up.
The present invention may comprise a head 10, a torso 20, a pair of arms 27, a pair of hands 25, a pair of legs 30, and a pair of feet 35.
The torso 20 can be attached to the head 10 and the torso 20 may include: a power 30 source 40, at least one control module 60 connected to the power source 40, one or more speakers 50 connected to the at least one control module 60, as shown in FIG. 4.
The pair of arms 27 can be attached to the torso 20. The arms 27 can be extending forward from the torso 20.
The pair of hands 25 can be attached to the arms 27. The hands 25 may include a palm 26 facing upwards towards the head 10. The palm 26 may include at least one button 45 communicatively/wire connected to the at least one control module 60, where the button 45, when depressed, sends electronic signals to at least one control module 60, where at least one control module 60 is capable of processing the electronic signals from the button 45 and sending the electronic signals to the speaker 50 to cause the speaker 50 to emit sound.
In one embodiment, the pair of hands 25 are a right hand 25a and a left hand 25b attached to the torso 20 of the plush teddy bear 100, wherein the right hand 25a include a right palm 26a and the left hand 25b includes a left palm 26b. Further, the right palm 26a may include at least one right button 45a and the left palm 26b may include at least one left button 45b. Therefore, the left button 45b or the right button 45a, when depressed, may send electronic signals to at least one control module 60, where at least one control module 60 is capable of processing the electronic signals from the left button 45b or the right button 45a and sending the electronic signals to the one more speakers 50 to cause the one or more speakers 50 to emit sound (a first sound or a second sound).
The buttons 45a, 45b can be configured to go back to their original positions when the user releases the buttons 45a, 45b from the depressed position. The sound (the first sound or the second sound) may continue even after the user releases the buttons 45a, 45b from the depressed position. If the buttons 45a, 45b are depressed again while the speaker 50 is playing, the sound may stop. For example, when the right button 45a is depressed while the speaker 50 is playing the first sound, the first sound will stop. When the left button 45b is depressed while the speaker 50 is playing the second sound, the second sound will stop.
Buttons 45a, 45b then will go back to their original positions when the user releases the buttons 45a, 45b. When the right button 45a is depressed again after the first sound is stopped, the first sound will resume playing from where the first sound left off.
When the left button 45b is depressed again after the second sound is stopped, the second sound will resume playing from where the second sound left off.
The first sound can be morning Islamic dua and athkar (prayers) emitted when the right button 45a is pressed and the second sound can be evening Islamic dua and athkar (prayers) emitted when the left button 45b is pressed.
Further, when the left button 45b and the right button 45a are depressed together, the left button 45b and the right button 45a may send electronic signals to at least one control module 60, where at least one control module 60 is capable of processing the electronic signals from the left button 45b and the right button 45a and sending the electronic signals to the one more speakers 50 to cause the one or more speakers 50 to emit a third sound that is a pre-recorded sound other than the morning Islamic dua and athkar (prayers) and the evening Islamic dua and athkar (prayers).
In some embodiments, the third sound can be the same as the first sound. In some other embodiments, the third sound can be the same as the second sound.
The control modules 60 are used to manage the sounds produced by the present invention. In some embodiments, the control modules 60 may base their response on a pre-programmed parameters and real-time input from the buttons 45 (e.g., 45a. and 45b).
in some embodiments, the control modules 60 may include a sound module (known in the art) that can provide 12 kHz sound and hold two pre-recorded audio playbacks of two to three minutes each. In some embodiments, playback audio can be hardcoded to allow playback function only.
In some embodiments, the sound module may be embedded inside the plush teddy bear's torso 20.
in a preferred embodiment, the control modules 60 can also be used to store a customized portfolio of pre-recorded phrases. Whenever a user pushes one or more buttons 45 (e.g., 45a. and 45b) attached to the present invention, the control modules 60 may cause one or more speakers 50 to emit sounds. For example, if the user pushes the right palm 26a (that, in response, pushes the right button 45a), the control module 60 may play back morning Islamic dua and athkar (prayers). If the user pushes the left palm 26b (that, in response, pushes the left button 45b), the control module 60 may play back evening Islamic dua and athkar (prayers). If the user pushes both palms (that in response push both buttons 45a. and 45b), then the control module 60 may play back either or both sounds or other pre-recorded sounds.
The pair of legs 30 can be attached to the torso 20. In some embodiments, the legs 30 can be folded back towards the back of the plush teddy bear 100.
The pair of feet 35 can be attached to the legs 30. The feet 35 may include a sole 37 facing upwards towards the head 10.
The power source 60 of the present invention can include a battery pack or AA batteries. In some embodiments, the present invention may also include a cone shaped hat 15 (which can be 8.25-inch-long). The hat 15 may include an opening for the bear's right ear to come out.
In some embodiments, the plush teddy bear 100 of the present invention may further include fabric configured to form an outer layer covering the entire plush teddy bear 100 including the head 10, torso 20, arms 27, legs 30, hands 25 and feet 35 of the plush teddy bear 100.
Further, the plush teddy bear 100 of the present invention may also include stuffing material disposed within the fabric to provide plush characteristics to the plush teddy bear 100. The head 10, torso 20, arms 27, hands 25 and legs 30 of the present invention can be made from the same materials.
In some embodiments, the hands 25 (paws) can be made of plush material and embroidery that can be for one or more images (e.g., a sun image on the right paw (hand 25) and a moon on the left paw (hand 25). The feet 35 can also made of plush and embroidery martial.
In some other embodiments, any known hat accessories such as star tassel 38 including Moon can be be attached to the bear's hat 15.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
