The bottle may have a rubber plug with multiple teats 205. The bottle may have a vertical sliding teat track 301. Preferably the rubber teats have a tube 505 extending from the rear of the teat into the bottle, the distal end of the tube resting at the base of the bottle. The teat plug has a rubber rim 504 that secures the teat to the bottle while the animal is feeding. The vertical sliding teat track preferably slides vertically along the bottle from neck to near the base of the bottle. The vertical sliding teat track comprises a vertical rubber teat band (302, fig 300) that may be held in place by two L-shaped grid tracks (303, fig 300) that are located to either side of the vertical rubber teat band and prevent liquid from leaking.

Description

DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
The object of this invention is to provide a hands-free, multi capacity hydration bottle for pets and livestock.
The present invention relates generally to the inventor providing a unique handsfree, multi teats / nipples comprising of, but is not limited to, a quadruple capacity feeding bottle device, that can be used by singular or multiple animals. The new system allows the caregiver of the foodstuff or liquid to measure how much is fed or to be fed. The present invention may be described in enabling detail in the following examples, which may represent more than one embodiment of the present invention.
When pets or livestock, of any age require bottle feeding the feeder in many instances must hold the feeding bottle directly into the animals' mouth, especially if the animal is a newborn. This embodiment of the invention means that the caregiver can monitor the feeding of the animal handsfree, eliminating tired arms and hands, and instead leaving feeder to concentrate more on animal while they are feeding or even move away momentarily while pet is left to consume with no assistance from the caregiver, consequently this embodiment of the invention may be more efficient than the traditional handheld bottles that are used. In this example of the said bottle, it may be easier to fill given its wide funnel opening at the top of the bottle and may be more aesthetically pleasing, looking more like artwork than a traditional animal bottle that may be typically used.
In this example the invention comprises of, but is not limited to, a cone shaped container with a funnel opening at the top for ease of use when filling. The embodiment of the said bottles' shape comprises of a sturdy design, that may stay upright without the need of caregiver to hold it while animal is feeding, regardless of animals' size and may be made to any size, depending on the size of the animal using the bottle. The said bottle may also comprise of a sustainable plastic and optionally may be encased in a wooden case of similar, or different shape for extra durability, but is not limited to either material or may be made from other materials commonly used in the feeding bottle manufacturing industry. The optional wooden case would be of the same shape as, but is not limited to, the said cone shaped bottle. In this example the opening of the bottle at the very top, where the liquid or food stuff is poured/fed into, is covered with, but not limited to, a plastic or mesh lid which may allow air in and keep dust particles out.
The embodiment of this invention depicts examples of teats that can be utilised on the said bottle, the sliding, adjustable teat/nipple column and the multi-teats/nipples. The first example of the invention comprises of a sliding teat that may move up and down vertically the length of the bottle, from the neck, but is not limited to, the base of the bottle. The second example of the invention comprises of the multi-teats/nipples system, a rubber band that may be, but is not limited to, 2 or more teats connected to each other in a row on a horizontal rubber band, each teat having a plug at its rear that can be plugged into the plug holes located at the lower part of the said bottle. Both teat types can be located on 1 bottle or 2 separate bottles. Given the embodiments of the said bottle in these examples it may have, but is not limited to, both types of teats/nipples on the opposite sides of the same bottle or can be installed on a separate individual bottle which would be more usual, the number of teats only limited by the surface area of the said bottle in question. In this example the invention comprises of the teat/nipples that can be made of basic rubber or a silicone rubber but are not limited to these materials, other materials commonly used for manufacturing or creating teats /nipples can also be used, both are waterproof when attached to the bottle by the unique 'Dilly' mechanism plug that consist of, but is not limited to, a plug attached to the rear of the teat/nipple that ends in a rubber tube that rests on the base of the bottle when plugged in to the said bottle. This embodiment of the said tube plug on the teat acts as a straw drawing liquid up through the tube which is passed through the plug into the mouth of the animal feeding.
Fig. 200 -In this example the said bottle shape, 202, comprises of, but is not limited to, a slim cone shape with a funnel top opening, 201. The said bottle is not limited to the usual handheld feeding bottles, it may be made to any size. The embodiment of the bottle in this example has, but is not limited to, circular plug holes located at the lower end of the bottle, 203. The holes are not limited to being circular and could be any shape commonly utilised as a waterproof plug to prevent the liquid, or foodstuff, from escaping from a bottle. The said plug holes enable the rubber multi teats/nipples, Fig 205, located on a connected band that may run horizontally across the band, to be plugged into the holes located at the base of the said bottle FIG. 203. The bottle may, but is not limited to, being clear plastic with measurement levels printed on the outside of the bottle for the feeder to gage how much is being fed to the animal.
FIG. 205 This embodiment of the invention comprises of the front view of the multi-teat/nipples. In this example the invention comprises of the type of waterproof multi-teat/nipple rubber band system that may be, but is not limited to, 2 or more teats connected to each other in a row on a horizontal rubber band that can be plugged into the said bottle. In this embodiment of the present invention the size of the band would depend on the size of the teat which depends on the size of the bottle that depends on the size of the animal feeding. The advantage of the said multi teat is that all four teats can feed many animals simultaneously and all teats can be cleaned at the same time.
FIG. 300 is a perspective view of the said bottle in Fig 200 according to an embodiment of the present invention. This embodiment includes components previously introduced that have not changed in this example and retains its original bottle shape and multi compartments. In this example the invention comprises of a sliding rubber teat column on the said bottle, 301, that may be, but is not limited to, moving up and down the bottle from the bottle neck to the bottle base. The advantage of this may be that the said teat will have an additional range of movement to accommodate many differing heights of animals. The inside of the sliding column rests on two shaped grids, 303, that run the entire length of the bottle holding the rubber sliding column in place while it moves up and down the length of the bottle. The sliding column has, but is not limited to, stop points indents for the said teat/nipple to rest on to accommodate animal height. In this embodiment the teat is, but is not limited to, a single rubber teat as depicted in FIG. 302.
FIG. 400 and FIG. 400.A This embodiment of the invention comprises of the opposing rear side view of the bottle which may be divided into four equally sized and shaped compartments, 401 depicts compartment 1,402 depicts compartment 2 and 403 depicts the divider within the bottle comprising of a further 2 compartments on the opposing side, resulting in a quadruple capacity wherein each compartment begins at the neck of the bottle to the base of the bottle. Each compartment has the measurement level scale located on the outer side of the bottle to show how much fluid or foodstuff has been or may be consumed. In FIG. 404 the example of the inventions compartments within the said bottle can be seen from the top view.
FIG. 500 and FIG. 500.A This embodiment of the invention comprises of a perspective side view of the sliding column teat but also the side view of one of the said multi teats in FIG. 200 and FIG. 300. The example of the invention here comprises of the teat/nipple which displays the 'Dilly' plug mechanism, wherein to the rear side of the teat/nipple there may be a 'male' plug with a protruding rubber ring around the rim, FIG 504, of each plug that may allow the teat/nipple to stay in place inside the said bottle while in use by the pet. In this example of the invention there may also be an extension tube, FIG. 505, from the plug located at the rear of the teat, acting like a straw that rests on the floor of the bottle to deliver the liquid up through the plug to the teat, then to the animal feeding. The said multi teats band for feeding are located at the front of the band and the bottle plugs (male plug, 'the Dilly') are located at the back of each teat on the band. It will be apparent to one with skill in the art of feeding bottles for liquid or other foodstuff of the invention may be provided using some or all of the mentioned features and components without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. It will also be apparent to the skilled artisan that the embodiment described above are specific examples of a single broader invention which may have greater scope than any of the singular descriptions taught.
