Abstract

260,387. Hiller, H. Sept. 8, 1925. Bulk evaporators. -An evaporator of the kind described in Specification 168,415 heated by coils arranged in parallel planes is provided with two groups of coils 5, 6 attached at one end to a common chamber 3, and at the other end to separate chambers 4. When the chambers 4 are used as steaminlet chambers separate sources of steam mav be used for each group. The inlet and drainage chambers may be divided by horizontal partitions so that separate supplies of steam may be passed into parts of each group. Separate, doors cover the openings leading to each group of coils.
