Abstract

260,194. Oshima, M. June 26, 1926. Preserving fish.-Ice for preserving marine fish is formed from natural sea-water to which a small amount of hydrogen peroxide is added, the mixture being frozen slowly without agitation. A suitable mixture is 2 parts by weight of hydrogen peroxide (2 per cent in H2O) and 300 parts by weight of sea-water.
