Axles; wheel scrapers on vehicles.-A cranked axle, for a cultivator comprises a square bar B having rounded portions and shaped to receive rods B' carrying the horizontal parts B<2> on which the wheels are mounted. In another form, a cranked rod is fitted in a bar of channel section and is secured therein by clamps or uy welding. Arms C' carrying wheel scrapers may be secured to the axle as shown, or the arms may be secured to the outer ends of the parts B<2> of the axle.
