Abstract
An elliptical trainer with protective function comprises frameworks 11 fixed to the ground, a handle 17, rotation shafts 21 extending from the frameworks 11 to support rotation devices via ball bearings 19, protection devices suitable for a user to stand on, are arranged on lower surfaces of the rotation devices and a mechanism is included that allows rotation of the rotation devices when a user stands on the protection devices and prevented when a user does not stand on the protection devices. The protection devices may be in the form of pedals 14 and the locking mechanism may operate by wires wound on wheels operating sprung limit blocks.

AN ELLIPTICAL TRAINERS WITH PROTECTIVE FUNCTION
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of sport equ pment,in particular to an elliptical trainer with protective function
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The elliptical trainer is a common used sports equipment, which is used to exercise operators' legs, and the elliptical trainer is applied widespread in gardens and communities due to simple operation and obvious exercise effect; however, when in use, the existing elliptical trainer often causes a damage to the operators as contrived or unconscious rotation.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0003] The technical problem to be solved by the invention is to provide an elliptical trainer with protective function so as to overcome the problems existing in the prior art.
[0004] The following technical plan is adopted by the invention to solve the above-mentioned technical problems: an elliptical trainer with protective function comprises frameworks, wherein the frameworks are fixedly arranged on ground, wherein a handle is fixedly arranged on opposite end surfaces of the frameworks, wherein rotation devices are respectively arranged on the opposite end surfaces of the frameworks, wherein protective devices are arranged on lower sides of the rotation devices, wherein the rotation devices comprise first rotation shafts rotatably arranged on end surfaces of the frameworks, wherein two of ball bearings are symmetrically arranged on the first rotation shafts, and inner rings of the ball bearings are in press fit connection with the first rotation shafts, wherein rotating rods are arranged on outer rings of the ball bearings, wherein disposing cavities are arranged on upper sides of the rotating rods, and inner walls of the disposing cavities are in press fit connection with the outer rings of the ball bearings, wherein end caps are fixedly arranged on opposite end surfaces of the first rotation shafts; whereby when operators stand on the protective devices, the rotation devices work normally, and when no operators stand on the protective devices, the rotation devices are not able to work normally.
[0005] The rotation devices further comprise two of sliding assemblies symmetrically arranged on lower end walls of the disposing cavities, wherein the sliding assemblies comprise fixed blocks fixedly arranged on the lower end walls of the disposing cavities, wherein sliding cavities are arranged in the fixed blocks, wherein sliding blocks are slidably arranged in the sliding cavities, wherein lower end surfaces of the sliding blocks are connected with lower end walls of the sliding cavities via first springs, wherein limit blocks are fixedly arranged on upper end surfaces of the sliding blocks, and the sliding assemblies are used to support the limit blocks to slide vertically within the disposing cavities.
[0006] The rotation devices further comprise two of rolling devices symmetrically arranged on the limit blocks, wherein the rolling assemblies comprise rolling cavities arranged on the limit blocks, wherein rolling balls roll in the rolling cavities, and the rolling assemblies are used to assist the limit blocks to slide vertically within the disposing cavities.
[0007] The rotation devices further comprise a plurality of grooves uniformly arranged along circumferences of the limit blocks, wherein each of conical channels for guiding bumps to insert is arranged on one side wall with a relative long distance along a radial direction of corresponding one of the grooves, wherein limiting assemblies are arranged on the limit blocks, wherein the limiting assemblies comprise rotation cavities arranged in the limit blocks, wherein second rotation shafts are rotatably arranged on inner walls of the rotation cavities, wherein bumps are fixedly arranged on the second rotation shafts, wherein front and rear end surfaces of the bumps are connected to the rotation cavities via two of second springs; whereby when the bumps insert into the grooves, the rotating rods is not able to rotate at a large angle as being limited within a certain scope, and when the bumps are pulled out from the grooves, the rotating rods is able to perform a free rotation.
[0008] Protective devices are respectively arranged on opposite end surfaces of the rotating rods, wherein the protective devices comprise support blocks fixedly arranged on bottom ends of the rotating rods, wherein activating cavities are arranged in the support blocks, wherein pedals are slidahly arranged in the activating cavities, wherein lower end surfaces of the pedals are connected with lower end walls of the activating cavities via a plurality of fourth springs.

An elliptical trainer with protective function comprising: frameworks; wherein the frameworks are fixedly arranged on ground, wherein a handle is fixedly arranged on opposite end surfaces of the frameworks, wherein rotation devices are respectively arranged on the opposite end surfaces of the frameworks; wherein protective devices are arranged on lower sides of the rotation devices, wherein the rotation devices comprise rotation shafts rotatably arranged on end surfaces of the frameworks, wherein two of ball bearings are symmetrically arranged on the first rotation shafts, and inner rings of the ball bearings are in press fit connection with the first rotation shafts, wherein rotating rods are arranged on outer rings of the hall bearings, wherein disposing cavities are arranged on upper sides of the rotating rods, and inner walls of the disposing cavities are in press fit connection with the outer rings of the ball bearings, wherein end caps are fixedly arranged on opposite end surfaces of the first rotation shafts; whereby when operators stand on the protective devices, the rotation devices work normally, and when no operators stand on the protective devices, the rotation devices are not able to work normally.
- 2. The elliptical trainer with protective function defined in claim 1 wherein the rotation devices further comprising: two of sliding assemblies symmetrically arranged on lower end walls of posing cavities, wherein the sliding assemblies comprise fixed blocks fixedly arranged on the lower end walls of the disposing cavities, wherein sliding cavities are arranged in the fixed blocks, wherein sliding blocks are slidably arranged in the sliding cavities, wherein lower end surfaces of the sliding blocks are connected wjth lower end walls of the sliding cavities via first springs, wherein limit blocks are fixedly arranged on upper end surfaces of the sliding blocks, and the sliding assemblies are used to support the limit blocks to slide vertically within We disposing cavities.
- 3. The elliptical trainer with protective function defined in claim 2, wherein the rotation devices further comprising: two of rolling devices symmetrically arranged on the limit blocks, wherein the roiling assemblies comprise rolling cavities' art aged on the limit blocks, wherein rolling balls roll in the rolling cavities, and the rolling assemblies are used o assist the limit blocks to slide vertically within the disposing cavities.
- 4 The elliptical train( with protective function defined in claim 2, wherein the rotation devices further comprising: a plurality of grooves uniformly arranged along circumferences of the limit blocks, wherein each of conical channels for guiding bumps to insert is arranged on one side wall with a relative long di stance along a radial direction of corresponding one of the grooves, wherein limiting assemblies are arranged on the limit blocks, wherein the limiting assemblies comprise rotation cavities arranged in the limit blocks, wherein second rotation shafts are rotatably arranged on inner -ails of the rotation cavities, wherein bumps are fixedly arranged on he second rotation shafts, wherein front and rear end surfaces of the bumps are connected to the rotation cavities via two of second springs; whereby when the bumps insert into the grooves, the rotating rods is not able to rotate at a large angle as being limited within a certain scope, and when the bumps are pulled out from the wpoves, the rotating rods is able to perform a free rotation.
- 5. The elliptical trainer with protective firnction defined in claim 1, wherein the protective devices are respectively arranged on opposite end surfaces of the rotating rods, wherein the protective devices comprise support blocks fixedly arranged on bottom ends of the rotating rods, wherein activating cavities are arranged in the support blocks; wherein pedals are slidably arranged in he activating cavities, wherein lower end surfaces of the pedals are connected with lower end walls of rting cavities via a plurality of fourth springs.
- 6. The elliptical trainer with protective function defined claim S, wherein the protective devices further comprising: passage cavi s arranged in the rota ng rods, wherein third rotation shafts are rotatably arranged on front end walls of the passage cavities, wherein first mono-rat (heels are rranged on the third rotation shafts, wherein steel swings are wound on the first mono -rail wheels, wherein support plates a arranged on lower end walls of the passage cavities, wherein fourth rotation shafts are rotatably arranged on rear end surfaces of the support plates, wherein second mono-rail wheels are rotatably arranged on the fourth rotation shafts, wherein the steel swings are abutted against the secondmono-rail wheels, wherein one ends of the steel swings are connected to the limit blocks and another ends of the steel swings are connected to side surfaces of the pedals,
