Abstract
A polishing apparatus for a cast or moulded clutch plate has an installation panel 1, fixing apparatus 2 and a polishing apparatus 3. The fixing apparatus has a working station 2, fixed rod 21, pivot blocks 23 connected to the working station via bearings, traction gear 24, vibration damper plates 25 and clutch plate mounting rods 26. The vibration damper plates are connected to the working station by springs. The polishing apparatus 3 has a drive gear 30 which drives connecting rod 31 connected to extrusion blocks, or cams, 33 which adjust the distance between the sliding laths 34 which alters the spacing between polishing plates 36. As the polishing plates separate blocking plates 38 open and fans 3a operate blowing metal filings away from the clutches whilst also cooling them. Clutches may be manually mounted onto rods 26 by rotating threaded rod 268 which retracts rotating links 266 thereby pulling in blocks 263, 267 allowing clutches to be slid over tube 262. Threaded rod 268 can then be rotated the other way to fix the clutches in place prior to machining.

BEING CAST AND MOLDED
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of clutch platen casting, in particular to a polishing apparatus for surfaces of clutch platen after being cast and molded
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The clutch platen is an important part in the clutch, which plays a vital role in vehicle driving safety; as the clutch platen is one of the most important components in clutch assembly, according to drivers' willingness, through a link gear that transfers and cut down a power transmission of a motor and a cooperation with a clutch plate, the vehicle is capable of starting smoothly with a smooth shift under the condition that the motor does not overload, which have a great benefit to vehicles running; however, in order to ensure a good performance, a polishing operation is performed to the surfaces of the clutch platen when the clutch platen is produced, and there are also some deficiencies in existing clutch platen polishing apparatus when in polishing operation [0003] When in the polishing operations, there are the following problems: a. when in the polishing operations, many metal fillings are produced and temperatures of the polishing pieces and the clutch platen are rose, which will lead to a burn to operators when in collecting workpiece and also has a certain safety risk; b, when in the polishing operations, when the clutch platens are placed unevenly, clearances between adjacent two of the clutch platens have relative large errors, so when in polishing a plurality of the clutch platens, the polishing operations are easily failed to affect a polishing quality.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The technical problem to be solved by the invention is to provide a polishing apparatus for surfaces of clutch platen after being cast and molded comprises an installation panel, fixed kits and a polishing kit, wherein the fixed kits are mounted on the installation panel, wherein the polishing kit is arranged on outer sides of the fixed kits, wherein the polishing kit is mounted on the installation panel, and the fixed kits comprise a fixed rod, a working station, two of pivot blocks, a traction gear, vibration damper plates and charging rods, wherein the fixed rod is mounted on the installation panel by welding, wherein the working station is mounted on the fixed rod by welding, wherein the working station evenly defines sliding grooves A, wherein two of the pivot blocks are connected to the working station via bearings, wherein the traction gear is mounted on lower end surfaces of the pivot blocks, wherein the vibration damper plates are connected to the pivot blocks through springs, wherein through holes B are arranged on the vibration damper plates, wherein the charging rods are arranged in the through holes B of the vibration damper plates, wherein the charging rods are mounted on the pivot blocks; whereby in work, the dutch platen to be polished is manually placed on the charging rods, and then the charging rods are started to fix the clutch platen to be polished, and then the charging rods are inserted into the pivot blocks by passing the vibration damper plates with human operations, thereby a load material fixing is realized.

[0011] In conclusion, the benefits of the invention are as follows: 1. the present invention is capable of solving the following problems: a. when in the polishing operations, many metal fillings are produced and temperatures of the polishing pieces and the clutch platen are rose, which will lead to a burn to operators when in collecting workpiece and also has a certain safety risk; b. when in the polishing operations, when the clutch platens are placed unevenly, clearances between adjacent two of the clutch platens have relative large errors, so when in polishing a plurality of the clutch platens, the polishing operations are easily failed to affect a polishing quality; 2. for the arrangement of the blow boxes, when the first motor is started, the connection rod drives the rotary disc to rotate, and at the same time, the polishing plates are driven to move under the actions of the extrusion blocks, thereby the pulling strips drive the blocking plates to open, and then the second motor is started to drive the blowing fans to blow, thereby the metal fillings on the surfaces of the clutch platen is blew away by air motions, and at the same time, a cooling process is performed to the polishing plates and the surfaces of the clutch platen, which prevent the operators form being burnt when collecting workpieces, 3. for the arrangements of the polishing plates, the threaded sleeves are twisted manually to drive the threaded columns to move with a threaded cooperation principle, thereby the polishing pieces are driven to move on the polishing plates, thereby the clearance between the polishing pieces are adjusted, which greatly avoids the clearances between the polishing pieces and the clutch platen due to an uneven placement of the clutch platen, so that a polishing effect will not be affected, and the polishing quality of the clutch platen can be improved.

The polishing apparatus for surfaces of clutch platen after being cast and molded defined in claim I, wherein the charging rods comprise inserted blocks, mounting pipes, first blockers, feed rods, connection sleeves, rotating links, second blockers and threaded rods, wherein the inserted blocks are mounted on the pivot blocks, wherein the mounting pipes are mounted on the inserted blocks by welding, wherein the first blockers are elastically connected with the mounting pipes, wherein the feed rods are mounted in the mounting pipes, wherein the connection sleeves are evenly mounted on the feed rods, wherein the rotating links are evenly and rotatably connected with the connection sleeves, wherein the second blockers are mounted on the rotating links, wherein the second blockers are slidably connected with the mounting pipes, wherein the threaded rods are mounted on the feed rods by welding, wherein the threaded rods are in threaded to the mounting pipes.
