SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The objective is to at least alleviate the problems described hereinabove not satis-factorily solved by the known arrangements, and to provide a feasible safety helmet with helmet accessory attachment means that facilitate the detachment of accessories from the safety helmet.
The aforesaid objective is achieved by the embodiments of an arrangement in a safety helmet in accordance with the present invention.
The aforesaid objective is achieved according to the present invention, as claimed in claim 1.
Accordingly, in one aspect of the present invention, a safety helmet comprises -a body part, and -helmet accessory attachment means comprising a cavity for facilitating the detachment of accessories.
In one embodiment the cavity has the shape of a half circle. In one embodiment the cavity has the shape of a half ellipse.
In one embodiment the cavity is arranged on the inside of the helmet.
Accordingly, in another aspect of the present invention, helmet accessory attachment means comprises a cavity for facilitating the detachment of accessories.
In one embodiment the cavity has the shape of a half circle. In one embodiment the cavity has the shape of a half ellipse.
In one embodiment the cavity is arranged on the inside of the helmet.
The utility of the present invention follows from a plurality of factors depending on each particular embodiment. Some embodiments may enable easy detachment of accessories from safety helmets. The detachment of accessory parts may become easier because the user may easily access the accessory parts with his/her fingers.
The expression "a number of' refers herein to any positive integer starting from one (1), e.g. to one, two or three.
The expression "a plurality of' refers herein to any positive integer starting from two (2), e.g. to two, three or four.
Different embodiments of the present invention are disclosed in the dependent claims
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED DRAWINGS
The invention is described in more detail in the following, with reference to the appended drawings in which Fig. I illustrates an embodiment of a safety helmet in accordance with the pre-sent invention.
Fig. 2 illustrates an inside view of the safety helmet.
Fig. 3 illustrates a cross-section of a side view of the safety helmet.
Fig. 4 illustrates an enlarged view of area A in figure 3 illustrating an embodi- ment of the helmet accessory attachment means according to the present inven-tion.
Fig. 5 illustrates a front view of the safety helmet.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
Referring to figures 1-5, the safety helmet 100 comprises a body part 102.
Helmet accessory attachment means 104 are arranged on the inside of the safety helmet 100. The helmet accessory attachment means 104 comprises a cavity 106. 25 The cavity 106 may be a circle or oval cut out, for example. The cavity may vary in shape.
The depth of the cavity may be approximately 10nun, for example.
The helmet accessory attachment means 104 may be arranged to the safety helmet 100 for attaching and detaching helmet accessories such as ear defenders and or face protection.
The safety hehnet 100 may be made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), 35 polycarbonates (PC), polycarbonate glass fibre, polyamide (e.g. Nylon 6), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), low density polyethylene or polyoxymethylene (P0M), for example.
Consequently, a skilled person may, on the basis of this disclosure and general knowledge, apply the provided teachings in order to implement the scope of the present invention as defined by the appended claims in each particular case of use with the necessary modifications, deletions and additions.
