Description

[0001] Welding Mask Having a Safety Cap [0002]

More particularly, the present invention relates to a welding mask provided with a safety helmet capable of preventing a safety accident caused by an object falling during a welding operation.

Welding masks are used to protect the eyes from strong light generated at the welding spot during welding or to protect the face from gas, flame or dust generated at the spot. Since the welding spot must be visible, a safety goggle with colored glass is provided in the welding mask. Welding masks are of the type worn on the head, with a handle on the bottom of the mask, which can be hand held with one hand.

In order to fix the welding mask to the head, a head fixing band is installed in the welding mask, and a hood is provided so that the head can be turned over. Conventionally, many welding masks do not have adequate means for protecting the head from physical impact.

Therefore, accidental injuries to the head caused by objects falling from the top often occur during the welding operation. It is also common for a body to move in a cramped working position while wearing a welding mask, and then to injure the head in the structure.

Protective equipment for protecting the head is required even in the case of wearing a welding mask.

Wherein the transverse band fixing portion is protruded from the front center of the transverse band and is engaged with the shoulder portion of the helmet; And a pulling band which is connected to both ends of the transverse band and extends over a rear portion of the helmet corresponding to the back of the wearer, the pulling band allowing the transverse band to be pulled.

According to another aspect of the present invention, a rear hook that can be hooked to the rear end of the helmet may be hinged to prevent the mask body from flowing down when the mask body is lifted above the mask main body of the welding mask.

According to still another aspect of the present invention, a plurality of air holes are formed in the mask body of the welding mask at a portion corresponding to the entrance of the wearer; A filter may be installed on a rear surface of the mask body to cover the air hole.

According to the above configuration, there is provided a welding mask in which a welding mask is worn and a helmet that prevents falling objects or surrounding facilities from hitting the head during work is provided. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the helmet and the welding mask may be integrated or separated, and each of them may be selectively used. According to the present invention, it is possible to work in a comfortable state by safely protecting an operator's head, thereby enhancing work efficiency and enabling a person to hear a talking sound even in a state of wearing a welding mask, A welding mask is provided.

3 is a perspective view of a helmet integral type welding mask according to an embodiment of the present invention.
4 to 5 are side views of a helmet integrated type welding mask according to an embodiment of the present invention.
6 is a partial side sectional view of a helmet integral type welding mask according to another embodiment of the present invention.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings attached hereto.

The helmet integral type welding mask according to the present invention comprises a helmet 1 to be worn on a head like a cap and a welding mask 2 to cover the face.

The hard hat 1 and the welding mask 2 are connected to each other so as to perform their functions independently. The hard hat 1 and the welding mask 2 may be integrally connected. However, a separate structure is shown in each drawing. If they are connected together, they can not be used separately because they are uncomfortable.

The safety helmet 1 has a shape and a structure similar to those of a conventional helmet as shown in Figs. Although not shown, an inner skin is provided inside the safety helmet 1 to protect the head from impact. The structure of the endothelium will be the same as a normal helmet. A synthetic resin having rigidity is suitable for the shell 10 of the helmet, but it may be made of the same material when it is integrated with the welding mask 2.

According to the drawings, the welding mask 2 is installed so as to cover the outer surface of the hard hat 1.

The helmet coupling portion connects the welding mask 2 and the helmet 1 to each other. The safety helmet coupling portion includes a lateral band 12 fixed to the outside of the safety helmet 1 in the head circumferential direction, a rotation band 11 rotatably connected to both ends 122 of the lateral band 12, And a transverse band fixing part for fixing the base 12 to the helmet 1. The rotary band 11 can be rotated within a certain interval along the direction of the arrow K in Fig. 2 to allow the welding mask 2 to be worn in front of the face as shown in Figs. 4-5, .

The transverse band 12 has both ends 122 extending to the temporal portion of the wearer and can be fixed to the outer surface of the hard hat 1 using an adhesive, a rivet, a fixing hook, or the like. A front hook 121 is provided at the center of the transverse band 12 and the front hook 121 is caught and fixed to the shoulder 101 of the helmet 1. [

According to the embodiment of the present invention, the pulling band 13 is further connected to both ends 122 of the transverse band 12 so that the transverse band 12 is fixed on the hard hat 1 in a state of being stretched tightly. The pulling band 13 is an elastic band or a spring. The rubber pad 131 can be fitted in the pulling band 13 so that it can not be slid off from the safety cap 1 when it is a spring. If the transverse band 12 is completely fixed to the outer surface of the helmet 1 using an adhesive, a rivet, a fixing hook or the like, the pulling band 13 will be unnecessary. When the transverse band 12 can not be separated from the safety helmet 1, it can be omitted because it only serves to disperse the load.

The rotating band 11 is fixed to the mask body 20 of the welding mask using a rivet 22, a bolt or the like. An adjusting knob 14 is provided at a connecting portion between the rotary band 11 and the transverse band 12. According to the present embodiment, the mask body 20 is provided with a small air hole 24 as shown in FIG. Several air holes 24 are provided and are provided around the mouth of the user. The air hole 24 is convenient for an operator to breathe, so that a person around the wearer can hear a voice even when the welding mask 20 is worn. A filter 25 may be interchangeably provided on the inner surface of the mask body 20 for purifying the air introduced through the air holes 24. The filter 25 is provided for purifying the air.

The welding mask 2 includes a mask body 20 and a transparent window portion 21 provided on the upper side of the mask body 20. The transparent case has a base plate 213 fixed to the outer surface of the mask body 20, a case 212 mounted on the base plate 213, and a translucent safety goggle 214 hinged to the case 212 May include a security guard frame 213. The case 212 and the security guard frame 213 are foldably connected by a hinge 215.

The security guard frame body 213 is lifted up along the direction of the arrow J as shown by the one-dot chain line in FIG. 4 by the spring 216 connected to the security guard frame 213 and the other end connected to the base plate 211 And can maintain this state.
