Abstract

A triple seat child stroller that allows three children to sit side-by-side comprises an umbrella type folding mechanism using a riveted system allowing the stroller to be folded without removing any parts. The stroller’s seats may be made from fabric and allow up to three children from 0Kg up to 15Kg to be transported.

Description

Description
Triple Side by Side Stroller This invention relates to a device for a person to push three children. Each child can weigh from OKG to 15KG. The pushchair allows each child to sit side by side of each other.
The side by side Triple Stroller allows people to push up to 3 children that sit side by side of each other. However larger strollers can lead to taking up a lot of space when folded. To overcome this problem the present invention proposes an umbrella fold mechanism meaning that the stroller can fold without taking any parts off to fold.
The fold mechanism is provided by a metal work system allowing the frame shape to change from open to closed.
The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 shows the rear when folded Figure 2 shows the rear of the mechanism when locked into place Figure 3 shows the rear of the mechanism when locked into place Figure 4 shows the side view when locked into place Figure 5 shows the front wheels Figure 6 shows the front angle In Figure 1, a folded stroller includes a metal mechanism (Shown at number 6) that can be folded by pressing down (Shown at number 1) and pulling up (Shown at number 2) in all three places. Once land 2 have been performed the stroller can collapse in and be folded. Once folded it can be held in position by the locking clip (Shown at number 8).
To erect the stroller from folded, unclip (Shown at number 8) and unfold the stroller. To lock the metal work pushdown (Shown at number 4) in all 3 places.
To hold the 8 back wheels (Shown at number 5) in place on the ground push the brake (Shown at number 3) down to the ground (4 back brakes in total, one on each wheel). To remove the brakes (Shown at number 3) pull back up to top position.
All the metal work is held together by rivets (Shown at number 7) allowing the mechanism to collapse.
To push the stroller, use the handles (Shown at number 9) which are covered in foam.
Figure 2, shows the mechanism at the back in locked position. To achieve this position unfold the stroller and push down on the rubber (Shown at number 4) until it clicks into place.
Figure 3 shows a close up of Figure 2 Figure 4 shows the side angle of the stroller. (Shown at number 6) allows the stroller to fold in on itself allowing the stroller to be folded. The carrying handle (Shown at number 15) allows the stroller to be carried when folded and clipped together using (Shown at number 8).
Figure 5 shows the front wheels section of the stroller. They are connected to the metal frame (Shown at number 6). There are a total of 8 front wheels that can be put into swivel mode or have them go in a straight line only. To change the wheel angles lift up the plastic clip (Shown at number 12) to change the wheels to swivel and push down (Shown at number 12) to change the wheels to go in a straight line only.
(Shown at number 13) shows the leg straps that the children can place there feet on. These are connected to all the front wheels.
Figure 6 shows the front metal work of the stroller and it is where all 3 fabric seats (Shown at number 14) are fastened to the framework (Shown at number 15).
