258,552. Stone, F. G. Sept. 21, 1925, [Convention date]. Grip, facilitating.-In a device for use in washing surfaces comprising a water-receiving head 12 connected by a neck 20 to a water-delivering head consisting of two discs 25, 27, part of the palm of the hand rests against the disc 25 and the fingers, some of which engage the neck 20, are bent over the edge of the disc, to hold detachably a sponge, cloth, or like article against the perforated front disc 27. The neck 20 is of annular form to provide an opening for a finger and is formed internally with an annular passage communicating with the chambers in both heads of the device. In a modified construction the annular neck is wide enough to receive all four fingers.
