ADSORPTIVE KNIFE SHARPENING BASE
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
a) Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to an adsorptive knife sharpening base, and more particularly to a knife sharpening base which is fixed with a sucking disc.
b) Description of the Prior Art
After using cutlery for a period of time, the cutting edge will get dull due to the constant cutting. After the cutlery is passivated, normally one would use a sharpening stone to sharpen the cutlery in order to restore to the original sharpness. As a whole piece of the conventional sharpening stone is rather heavy and cannot be collected easily, the sharpening stone is configured as a small chunk to be combined on a knife sharpening base of the knife sharpener on the market. However, for the abovementioned method of combining the sharpening stone with the knife sharpening base, a user should grab the cutlery to slide on the sharpening stone with one hand and hold the knife sharpening base with the other hand, while using the knife sharpener. This can be dangerous in using the knife sharpener.
Accordingly, it is indeed the object of research and development for the related industry to improve the abovementioned shortcoming of the conventional knife sharpener, and by the design with many years of work experience of the present inventor, the present invention has emerged after many times of correction, testing and improvement.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The technical problem to be solved is that when using the conventional knife sharpener, the user should grab the cutlery to slide on the sharpening stone with one hand, with the other hand holding the knife sharpening base. This can be dangerous in using the knife sharpener.
The technical features of solution are that the present invention provides an adsorptive knife sharpening base which includes a sucking disc, a main base, a sharpening stone set, a cover board, a control handle and an upper lid, wherein the sucking disc is provided with an adsorptive power and a top surface of the sucking disc is extended with a pull rod, whereas the main base is in a shape of step and is provided with a lower first body portion and a higher second body portion, with the first body portion including a through-hole. When the sucking disc is put below the main base that the main base can press on the top surface of the sucking disc, the pull rod of the sucking disc can penetrate from the interior of the main base via the through-hole. In addition, the top surface of the second body portion is provided with an insertion hole, and the second body portion is concaved inward at a front end opposite to the first body portion with a chamber which penetrates upward the top edge of the second body portion. A lower side of the chamber is provided with a limiting groove which provides for latching the cover board after the cover board is put into the chamber. In collaboration with the combination of the abovementioned upper lid, an indicator can be clamped between the bottom of the chamber and the cover board. The sharpening stone set is formed by overlapping two sharpening stones; whereas, a knife sharpening space will be formed in the center of the sharpening stone set after overlapping. The cover board is properly transparent and is a board which fits the shape of the chamber. The top edge and the bottom edge of the cover board are extended respectively with an upper limiting plate and a lower limiting plate. When the cover board is latched in the limiting groove with the lower limiting plate that the entire cover board can be accommodated in the chamber, a retaining edge which is bent down at a front end of the upper lid can be utilized to stop the upper limiting plate from escaping forward, using the combination of the upper lid with the main base again. On the other hand, by the design that the upper lid can be dismantled after assembling, the cover board and the indicator can be replaced on demand. The control handle is an annular body with a perforation, and a center on a side of the control handle is provided with a combination portion. The combination portion is formed eccentrically with an extrusion block. The control handle provides for jink with the perforation, so that the combination portion can be pivoted on the pull rod of the through-hole successfully. By levering the control handle, the extrusion block can be abutted on the first body portion eccentrically, which also pulls the sucking disc to produce vacuum suction in the first body portion. The front end of the upper lid is bent down with the retaining edge, and a top surface of the upper lid is penetrated with an open-hole. A rear side of the open-hole is provided with a support block which is bulged upward and has a V-shaped notch. A front end of the support block is configured in a shape of step to fit the overlapping of two sharpening stones. When the sharpening stone set is put into the insertion hole of the main base, the locking of the upper lid with the second body portion of the main base is used again, so as to limit the sharpening stone set on the main base. The open-hole provides for the extending of an upper section of the sharpening stone set, allowing the rear ends of the two sharpening stones of the sharpening stone set to be abutted on the support block, so as to improve significantly the stability of the cutlery in sharpening by the abutting, thereby achieving an adsorptive knife sharpening base.
