Abstract

An illuminated tennis ball comprises a fluorescent strip with LEDs attached to the seam of the ball with a miniature switch to turn the lights on and off. A battery and wiring are housed inside the ball. A protective layer over the lights protect them in wet weather. The lights may show the spin of the ball in flight. The ball may be used when there is little light.
