Abstract

A guitar tool comprises a wedge type peg which fits under a string of a guitar. The peg is placed under the bridge string carrier bar, holding the string firmly in place on the bridge pins. The string may be threaded into the tuning key at the top of the guitar and part wound by hand until secure. The peg is then removed and the socket on the end of the tool is placed on the tuning peg and turned to tighten the string. The tool may be made from rubber, plastic, wood or metal. The tool enables the user to quickly change a string on a guitar.
