Abstract

A water wheel 1 inside a waterproof box 10 with electricity generators 11. The water flows from the water tank 4 through water pipes 5 driven by circulation pumps 9 onto the water wheel. The power supply for the pumps is by batteries, petrol or diesel generators. The water wheel shaft 2 may protrude from opposite sides of the waterproof box and hold an electricity generator on each side. Each water outlet 7 may be linked by pipes to one stop tap 3 and one circulation pump that is located below the water level line 6. The water tank, pipes and waterwheel may be any size that is required to improve the performance. If required there can be more than 2 circulation pumps in the water tank.

Description

H.S.R. Water Wheel Unit
Water wheels use the energy of flowing or falling water to turn wheel so to power other machines to do the work. >
The Object of this invention is to provide a high speed rotating water wheel unit to operate electricity generators which requires high R.P.M, the unit also benefits by using the same water allowing the unit to operate in most places.
According to the present invention there is provided a high speed rotating water wheel unit comprising, a water wheel assembled in a waterproof box and secured to the top of a water tank, the water tank size depends on the size of the water wheel, the water tank is designed with two water outlets just above the base of the tank also one drainage tap.
Each water outlet is linked by pipework to one stop tap and one circulation pump located below the water level line and at the required distance, pipework from the outlet of the two circulation pumps is designed with open ends to enter waterproof box ready to rotate water wheel.
When pump or pumps are operated the water flows through the open ends of pipe or pipes located in the waterproof box, to rotate water wheel the water then returns to the water tank through opening in the base of the waterproof box, the water circulation pumps power supply can come from batteries, petrol or diesel portable generators.
The water wheel shaft protruding from opposite sides of waterproof box to allow one or two generators to be operated when the unit is running.
The water tank can be made in any size the larger the tank means higher water pressure to each pump, water flow can also be increased to each pump by enlarging the pipe work from water tank to pump, water tank can be enlarged without the waterwheel being increased or decreased in size unless required to improve performance.
Stop taps allows any circulation pump to be removed and replaced without the unit being shut down, if required the water tank can have more than two circulation pumps assembled in the same way as the original two pumps, the water can be topped up at any time if the water drops below level required in water tank.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1, shows side view of H.R.S. water wheel unit, which shows pipework, circulation pumps also end view of water wheel, and two electricity generators.
Figure 2, shows open end pipes rotating water wheel.
Figure 3, shows aerial view of water wheel mounted on top of water tank.
Referring to the drawings of the H.S.R water wheel unit, comprising a water tank 4, designed with one drainage tap 8, two water outlets 7, also two circulation pumps 9, located below the water tank 4, water level line 6 and required distance, attached to the top of the water tank 4,is a waterproof box 10, to assemble water wheel 1 ready to function inside the waterproof box 10, water shaft 2 protruding from opposite sides of the waterproof box 10, opening in the base of the waterproof box 10, allow water to return to water tank 4.
Each water outlet 7 linked by pipework 5 to one stop tap 3 and one circulation pump 9, pipe work 5 designed from both circulation pumps 9 to enter waterproof box 10, with open ends ready to rotate water wheel 1, when unit is operated water wheel shaft 2 can operate one or two electric generators 11, circulation pump 9 power supply comes from batteries, petrol or portable diesel generators.
In use when the water tank 4 is filled with water to the water level line 6 and when power supply to circulation pumps 9 is turned on, circulation pump 9 or pumps 9 are operated the water flows through one or both open end pipes 5 in waterproof box 10 rotating the waterwheel 1, the water then returns to water tank 4 through opening in the base of waterproof box 10, water wheel shaft 2 operates one or two electric generators 11, as long as one or both circulation pumps 9 are operating the unit will continue to run, units power supply comes from batteries, petrol or diesel portable generators .
