Abstract

256,804. Marris, G. S. Sept. 21, 1925. Luncheon and picnic cases.-A metal luncheon case, canteen, or the like is provided with means for securing in place various articles. Resilient extensible means are provided for holding in place articles of varying sizes such as a thermos flask 10 and a milk bottle 11, the means shown comprising a coiled spring 13 anchored to the case at 14 and connected by a chain 15 to a detachable hook fastening 16, 17. Cups 12 and other articles of uniform size are held by spring clips 19. The case is formed with wedge-shaped sides 8 which provide shoulders 8<a> adapted to support sandwich &c. cases 9. A base or holder 21 is provided in which a tin can rest, or the bottom plate of the tin may have projecting bayonet-catch portions adapted to be engaged with a base holder.
