Abstract

A driving circuit for supplying a LED-stream with at least one LED, the circuit comprises an input unit (1) configured to boost an input voltage (VIN), a converting unit (2), configured to convert the boosted input voltage (VBUS) into a supply voltage for the LED-string, wherein the input unit (2) comprises a two-stage charge pump (11, 12) configured to smoothing the input voltage (VIN).
