Abstract

An item of clothing 1 which may be a jacket or coat has a front panel 2 affixed to the garment. The panel may have a zip 3 provided to allow access to a plurality of pockets Fig 2, 8 and 9 located and hidden from view on the front of the garment. The panel forms a pocket with the garment and openings 4 allow access to the pocket which resembles a pouch or kangaroo pocket. The openings may be secured by hook and loop fastenings 6. The front panel and zip may be shaped to sweep upward 7 toward the shoulders and may be decorated or trimmed with eyelets 5 or other forms of embellishment. The front panel serves to hide and protect the inner pockets from thieves who may seek to pickpocket the wearer. The inner pockets may be provided with closing flaps and secured closed Fig 2, 11 and 12.

Description
Invisible pockets upper body garment
This invention relates generally to travel clothing, more particularly, relates to anti pick pocket garment.
Invisible pockets upper body garment is an upper body garment with multiple secret pockets that concealed and disguised by a big decorative pocket in almost an X letter shaped, which can be incorporated with the T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, or other upper garment.
To have an anti pickpocket clothing for many people are necessary and for many travelers this become an obsession, whether people go on travel, or out and about in town, or in an open field concert, or in any other crowded areas people want to have the fear free feeling of being pickpockets or their wallet snatch away, everyday many people become victims of pickpockets, many touristic areas have posting “beware of pickpockets” signs, and some tube train operators in some countries have the automatic announcing of beware of pickpocket because it’s such a frequent problem, it takes only a split of second for pickpocket to make another victim especially in the crowded situation.
The best way to avoid pickpocket is not to carry a wallet in a pocket, but to have secret pocket with a wallet style sewn into the garment that would make impossible to snatch away. However, this kind of garment is rarely seen in the stores, not many stores selling anti pickpocket clothing that people really need when traveling, there are some designs and style of pockets but they are visible and not concealed, and there are also clothing with concealed pockets, but they are still visible from outside.
There are numbers of patents has been apply and disclosed for the hidden pocket clothing in the past years, for example: US patent no.US20150082506Al to Tony M. Yee dated 26 March 2015, US patent number US2013/0303052A1 to Christina Conrad dated 14 November 2013, US patent number US007908986B2 to Weilin Ji dated 22 March 2011, US patent number US005255392A to Thelma E. Stanishlow dated 26 October 1993, US patent number US7364491B2 to Lauren G Updyke dated 29 April 2008, however, those patents mentioned above failed to disclose or even suggest the invisibility in concealing the pockets by a layer of big decorative pocket shaped in an X fabric with multiple access to the invisible pockets, another US patent number 008566963B2 to Isabelle Ryan dated 29 October 2013 revealing concealed pocket sewn inside the pouch pocket and China Patent CN2179012 (Y) to Runbin Miao dated 12 October 1994, however these particular patents also failed to disclosed the decorative layer as a big pocket to disguised and concealed the pockets with a vertical zipper to access the multiple pockets inside.
To overcome these problems the present invention propose an invisible pockets, an upper body garment with ‘pockets inside a big pocket' that would make difficult for the thief s hand to get into the inside pockets without the owner notice. This present invention allow a big pocket in almost an X shaped letter to disguised and to concealed decoratively the already concealed pockets inside to become invisible, hence providing extra security, so it would give people a peace of mind so they can just get on with their outings without worrying pickpockets or thief can get easily into their pockets, and the beauty of this invention is people don’t need to carry a wallet because the “wallet” is already sewn attached to the upper garment.
For a more complete explanation of the present invention and the technical advantages thereof, reference is now made to the following description and accompanying drawing in which:
Figure 1 shows the view of the front of upper body garment layer and covered by a peace of decorative X shaped fabric as a big pocket covering and concealed the small pockets and loops inside.
Figure 2 shows an alternative view of the front of upper body garment with the secret pockets and loops sewn, without the decorative X shaped big pocket.
Figure 3 shows an alternative view of the decorative X shape big pocket with a zipper positioning vertically in the middle of the fabric before sewn into an upper body garment.
Before the present invention is described in details, it should be noted that the similar elements are donated by the same reference numerals throughout disclosure.
Figure 1, shows the view the front of the upper body garment 1, is layered by a peace of decorative fabric in almost an X shaped 2 as a stylish big pocket to concealed and hide the pockets 8, 9 inside (in figure 2) with multiple accessed to those pockets, the zip 3 positioning vertically in the middle of the fabric where half of the zip is split and sewn into the opposite direction forming like a V shape 7, but enough to covered and hide the upper pocket 8, the zipper is to allow an easy access to the upper pocket 8 inside, but also can be use as an alternative access to the lower pocket 9 when unzipped all the way down, the opened windows with velcro 6 which invisible from outside is located between the two points 4 is for access to the lower pocket 9 from left and right side, while the eyelets around the edges 5 is part of the decorative element, which also can be decorate with any other trims for garment such as, rivets or beads.
Figure 2, shows an alternative view of the upper body garment 1 without layered by a decorative big pocket in an X shaped fabric (in figure 3), in which the upper pocket 8 is positioning vertically and sewn in the centre of the front of upper body garment, big enough to stash a passport and a ticket, concealed by a flap with a snap 11 to open or close the pocket as well as to provide security, where the lower pocket 9 is a rectangular pocket with multiple small pockets inside forming like a ‘wallet’ style for stashing the cash and credit cards inside, positioning horizontally sewn at the middle bottom of the garment concealed by a flap with two snaps 12 to open or close the ‘wallet’ securely, so this ‘wallet’ can not be snatch away, while the two loops 10 located at the bottom of both sides left and right can be used to hooked the key rings to secure keys.
Figure 3, shows an alternative view of a decorative fabric in an X letter shaped as a big pocket with multiple accesses before it embedded or sewn on to the upper body garment 1 (in figure 1), to decoratively covered and disguised the two pockets 8,9 inside and the two loops 10 (in figure 2), so that they became invisible from outside. The zip 3 is positioning vertically and sewn in the middle of the fabric, in which the half part of the zip is split and sewn in to the opposite directions allow to forming a V shape 7, the zipper allowing an easy access to the upper pocket 8 inside as well as an alternative access to the lower pocket 9. The two opened windows with velcro 6 which are invisible from outside is located at the lower part between the two points 4 in left and right side is for access to the lower pocket 9 and the loops 10, while the eyelets around the edges 5 is part of the decorative element but can also be decorate with decorative trims for garment such as rivets, beads or rhinestones around the edges before embedded or sewn in to the upper body garment.
