Liquids, treating with gases. -A filling body for absorption towers is formed approximately in the shape of an ellipsoid with passages a through it, the wall sections between the passages being equal. The cross section is bounded by a wavy line, the indentations b having a smaller radius than the projections c so that in the event of two of these bodies lying side by side, passages are left between them.
