255,633. Douglas Motors, Ltd., and Pullin, C. G. July 11, 1925. Channels in cycle frames. - In a motor-cycle having spring forks with parallel links pivoted to the top and bottom of the steering-pillar 2, which is mounted in upper and lower ball or roller bearings 3, 4 in the head 5, ducts 10, 13 are provided for conducting lubricant from the link pivot bearings 60, 70 to the bearings 3, 4 respectively. The bearing 60 is formed in a boss 6 on a sleeve 8, which also carries the handlebars at 9. The duct 10 leading from the bearing 60 is in the form of a groove in the sleeve 8, collar 11, and upper race 30 of the bearing 3. The duct 13 leading from the bearing 70, which is formed in a boss 7 on the pillar 2, is drilled through the boss.
