Abstract

255,385. Hogan, G. F. April 7, 1926. Leggings.-A stocking protector comprises a sheet of crÛped paper which forms a cover when wrapped round the ankle with one end overlapping the other, a cord &c. being provided for fastening. In the form shown, the sheet is provided with a flap 6 covering the instep, and a tab 8 having a cord 9 attached by a fastener 10. When wrapped round the ankle the cord is passed over a fastener 11, under the instep, over a fastener 12, and back to the fastener 11. The sheets are made in pairs. In a modification, two cords are employed.
