Abstract

255,171. Pilkinton, G. J. April 25, 1925. Tents.-An umbrella tent has the radiating arms pivoted to a runner 4 which is formed in sections with flanges so that it can be clamped to the pole in any position. The ends of the arms are provided with shoulders against which eyelets in the tent fabric abut. The shoulders may be formed by nuts 33 screwed on to the ends of the arms: the eyelets are clamped between these nuts and other screwed portions 34 provided with eyes for the reception of the guy ropes.
