Abstract

In order to quantitatively make a determination for ending an air removal operation, and to prevent air from remaining in a heat medium circulation circuit and prevent an increase in the installation time, an air-conditioning device is equipped with: a primary-side circuit 20, formed by connecting by means of piping a compressor 10, a heat-source-side heat exchanger 12, throttle devices 26, and the heat-source-side and refrigerant-side of inter-heat-medium heat exchangers 25; and a secondary-side circuit 30, formed by connecting by means of piping the heat-medium side of the inter-heat-medium heat exchangers 25, pumps 31, and usage-side heat exchangers 35. The secondary-side circuit 30 has air removal valves 41 and 42 for discharging air in the circuit. Furthermore, a control device 50 is provided for executing an air removal operation, in which the air removal valves 41 and 42 are opened and the pumps 31 are driven, thereby circulating the heat medium and removing air from within the secondary-side circuit 30 when the secondary-side circuit 30 is installed, and for determining the end of the air removal operation on the basis of the rotational frequency of the pumps 31.
