Abstract

A refrigerator having a plurality of photographic cameras 1.1, infrared camera 1.3 and LEDs 1.2 on the interior walls of the refrigerator to allow the contents of the refrigerator to be checked without opening the door. The images from the cameras may be displayed on a touch screen display unit (2.2, fig 2) on the exterior of the refrigerators door which may also control the LEDs and camera. The images may also be viewed wirelessly via a PC, tablet, mobile phone or the like, which may also control the cameras and LEDs. The photographic camera allows the user to view the contents of the refrigerator, and the infrared camera allows the user to check the temperature of the contents. A plurality of arrays consisting of a photographic camera, infrared camera and LED are positioned in a plurality of orifices in numerous positions on the inner walls and door of the refrigerator to allow all areas of the refrigerator to be viewed by the user.

Description

Title:
Multifunctional refrigerator Technical field:
Household appliance engineering Description:
The present invention comprises a refrigerator which comprises a plurality of sets of three orifices which are distributed along each of the 5 inner walls of the refrigerator, as well as the door. Each level where food content is positioned comprises a plurality of sets of three orifices distributed along the walls which are directly facing to the food contends being positioned on the refrigerator’s trays.
Each set of three orifices, comprises an LED light in order to illuminate the required area, a photographic camera in order for the consumer to check what is comprised inside the refrigerator, and an infrared camera which can be used by the user to check the temperature of the goods at each area and each part of the refrigerator.
The refrigerator concerned comprises a touchscreen on the door which is used by the user to surf along the walls of the refrigerator such that said consumer can check the goods present inside the refrigerator by the means of said photographic cameras and said LED lights, as well as the temperature of the various parts and areas of the refrigerator, including the goods being kept inside the various places of the refrigerator.
All infrared and photographic cameras, as well as the LED lights, are all communicated and hence operable from the touchscreen present on the refrigerator’s door. So, the consumer does not need to access the handle to open the door of the refrigerator to check the goods which are present inside said refrigerator. Additionally, the consumer does not need to mess the things up in the refrigerator in order to figure out which products are inside either.
This system allows the user to check the temperatures and the presence of goods without opening the refrigerator’s door, therefore saving energy due to keeping the refrigerator constantly closed, as well as saving time and maximising organisation and use of space inside the refrigerator.
Said touchscreen has all of its functions connected to a refrigerator-attached computer processor, which gives the commands to actuate any of said cameras and lights inside the refrigerator based on the consumer’s request. Said computer also comprises an antenna, such that the consumer can surf along the walls of the refrigerator to check the content present inside the refrigerator and the temperature of the goods wirelessly. This system allows the consumer to connect to the refrigerator’s computer remotely from places such as a store or a supermarket in order to have a full idea of the contents of the refrigerator, and hence purchase the necessary items quickly and efficiently, and so maximising organisation. The consumer can surf inside the refrigerator with a PC, a tablet, a mobile phone, an app, or any other computer device which can communicate wirelessly.
Figure 1 comprises an internal front view of one of the six inner walls of the refrigerator, along with the inner trays and sets of lights and cameras.
Figure 2 comprises an external front view of the door of the refrigerator.
The present invention comprises a refrigerator (2.3) which comprises a plurality of sets of three orifices (1.1, 1.3, 1.5) which are distributed along each of the 5 inner walls (1.2) of the refrigerator (2.3), as well as the door (2.3). Each level (1.4) where food content is positioned comprises a plurality of sets of three orifices (1.1, 1.3, 1.5) distributed along the walls (1.2) which are directly facing to the food contends being positioned on the refrigerator’s trays (1.2).
Each set of three orifices (1.1, 1.3, 1,5), comprises an LED light (1.5) in order to illuminate the required area, a photographic camera (1.1) in order for the consumer to check what is comprised inside the refrigerator (2.3), and an infrared camera (1.3) which can be used by the user to check the temperature of the goods at each area and each part of the refrigerator (2.3).
The refrigerator concerned (2.3) comprises a touchscreen (2.2) on the external surface of the door (2.3) which is used by the user to surf along the walls (1.2) of the refrigerator (2.3) such that said consumer can check the goods present inside the refrigerator by the means of said photographic cameras (1.1, 1.3) and said LED lights (1.5), as well as the temperature of the various parts and areas of the refrigerator (2.3), including the goods being kept inside the various places of the refrigerator (2.3).
All infrared (1.3) and photographic (1.1) cameras, as well as the LED lights (1.5), are all communicated and hence operable from the touchscreen (2.2) present on the refrigerator’s door (2.3). So, the consumer does not need to access the handle (2.1) to open the door (2.3) of the refrigerator (2.3) to check the goods which are present inside said refrigerator (2.3). Additionally, the consumer does not need to mess the things up in the refrigerator (2.3) in order to figure out which products are inside either.
This system allows the user to check the temperatures and the presence of goods without opening the refrigerator’s door (2.3), therefore saving energy due to keeping the refrigerator (2.3) constantly closed, as well as saving time and maximising organisation and use of space inside the refrigerator (2.3).
Said touchscreen (2.2) has all of its functions connected to a refrigerator-attached computer processor, which gives the commands to actuate any of said cameras (1.1, 1.3) and lights (1.5) inside the refrigerator (2.3) based on the consumer’s request.
