Abstract

The invention relates to a link box (100) for bonding and grounding of sheathes of high voltage cable joints or terminations (17, 16) consisting partial discharge sensors (10) placed around coaxial bonding cables (4) located inside the link box (100) which act as primary winding for partial discharge sensor (10) and provide detection of partial discharge in sheathes of high voltage cable joints (17) and cable terminations (16); an additional housing (6) located on the enclosure cover (2) which pulses of partial discharge signals are transmitted using signal cables (11) connecting partial discharge sensors (10) to protection box (9) and provides carrying out of partial discharge measurement just only by opening the housing cover (7) without opening enclosure cover (2) and a protection box (9) located in additional housing (6) intended for connection of partial discharge test device and also provides protection of the circuit using spark gaps inside and also sensor cable glands (12) to send out the partial discharge signals to partial discharge monitoring system and it can be covered by threaded caps (13) when this option is not being used.
